neglected the broken height barrier at Kg. Baru Balakong. It had been already
weeks and it is dangering the safety of villagers staying there as well as
public who are using that road. A lot of lorry drivers are not aware of the
existent of the height barrier in that village settlement and each time when
they are unable to pass through the height barrier and they have to reverse
back to the main road and unable to make an U-turn due to the narrow road.

Allan Liew Sin Kim (Serdang MCA Public Complaints
and Services Department), Dato’ Hoh Hee Lee (Deputy Chairman of MCA Serdang) and
Yap Yoon ( Ketua Kampung (JKKP) of Kampung Baru Balakong) are extremely concern
about the safety of this issue.
Yap Yoon urged MPKj to put up a warning sign board of
the height of vehicle which can enter at the main entrance and give proper
direction to lorry drivers to enter the village. “It’s dangerous as it is broken and if
another lorry crash at this height barrier, it will collapse and will danger
the life of anyone who are nearby there” he said.
According to Allan Liew, Y.B. Yap Lum Chin (Balakong
Assemblyman) and Y.B. Teo Nie Ching (Member of Parliament for Serdang) are not
aware of the happening at the area they are responsible to. They do not pay
attention with the problems where people are facing. Not only this neglected
broken barrier but there are others unsolved issues such as cleanliness of the
environment and bad condition of the road such as pot holes. Allan Liew also
said that he could not see DAP’s C.A.T. (competency, accountability,
transparency) policy in governing the state but he could only see the normal
trend of DAP’s empty promises and a lot of issues not being look into
seriously. Moreover he also questioned that, with all these few years of
suffering by the Rakyat, do Y.B. Yap Lum Chin and Y.B. Teo Nie Ching deserve to
be given a big hand of applause? He urged MPKj to repair this broken height barrier immediately with anymore excuses.
Meanwhile,
Dato’ Hoh urged MPKj to repair this broken height barrier immediately without
fail and cooperate with Ketua Kampung whereby they are more aware with the
village settlement conditions and problems which villagers are facing.
